Summary Description:

The Stores Assistant is responsible for managing accurate inventory records, ensuring proper storage conditions, and coordinating with departments to fulfil material requests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and supplies.

  2. Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.

  3. Organize and manage storage areas for optimal efficiency.

  4. Issue materials and products as per requisitions.

  5. Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

  6. Ensure compliance with safety and storage regulations.

  7. Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams.

  8. Collaborate with relevant staff in the preparation and management of budgets.

  9. Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent knowledge of storekeeping or inventory management

  2. Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office

  3. Good communication and reporting skills.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

Holder of Diploma in Procurement, Material management, Logistics or related field with three (3) years relevant working experience in related role.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR DEBT COLLECTION SERVICES

Kairuki University (KU) invites proposals from reputable and experienced debt collection firms to provide professional debt recovery services on behalf of the University.

Scope of Work
The selected firm will be required to:

  • Collect outstanding debts owed to KU by former and current students as well as other debtors.

  • Conduct collections in a professional and ethical manner, maintaining the reputation of the University.

  • Provide regular progress reports and account reconciliations.

  • Advise the University on strategies to strengthen debt recovery and credit control processes.

Minimum Requirements
Interested firms must demonstrate:

  • Valid business registration and operating licenses in Tanzania.

  • Proven track record in debt collection and recovery, preferably in the education or service sector.

  • Qualified staff with expertise in debt recovery, negotiation, and legal procedures.

  • Capacity to handle large volumes of cases.

  • Strong internal controls and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
